I have enjoyed the various different opportunities in my career at NT Correctional Service – from working in accommodation blocks as a custodial officer to helping prisoners across different industries.
I’ve learned that a lot of prisoners haven’t been shown basic life skills. Coming to prison and seeing first-hand what others may take for granted has made me appreciative.
